If there is one thing that I do when working on a task is look for a Solution that helps me with simplifying my work. Doesn’t matter if reduces 1% of my workload, it is 1% that I don’t have to do. I work with a variety of Python scripts that help me in the process. While I enjoy working with Python, there are some limitations to it and I always thought working with App development will eliminate this limits (Well, at least I hope it does).
On that note, I have zero experience with App Development and I have no clue where to get started. But, I have a couple of project ideas that I think are fun and useful (for me at least). So, I took up the course from Meta on Coursera Meta iOS Developer. I have no idea, if I will complete this course. I have no idea, if this course will help with my journey. But, I think it is going to be fun learning.
There are numerous courses, tutorials, guides that are available which are free of cost or cheaper than this course. But, I chose this course for two reasons:
- I felt that the course is well structured and starts from the very basics. The tutorials that came across often assumes that there is some level of expertise before beginning.
- I am paying for this course, a huge amount in my opinion. So, I better get my act together and complete it as soon as possible. The fear of hard earned money going to waste will give some extra motivation (maybe not?).
Anyways, that’s it for my motivation. I am going to log my journey here as a series. This is another failsafe for me not to bail on learning this course. Thanks for staying. Follow me in my journey, maybe it will motivate you in some learning journey.
