Hello everyone, welcome back to another day in UX Writing Challenge. Let’s get started.

The Challenge

Scenario: The user is trying to view a website to help them buy a car. But, the content can’t load without the user’s location. They need to enter their ZIP code and first name.

Challenge: Ask them where they live and who they are without sounding like you’re unnecessarily mining their data.

Headline: 25 characters
Body: 45 characters
Button: 15 characters

User’s data is very sensitive data, doesn’t matter if it is just their name or Zip/Postal code. Once you get a user data, you should take responsibility in protecting the data. Also, you should let the user know why you are getting their personal information and how you are going to use it.

The Solution

Headline: Name and Zip Code required.

Body: Please provide details to get personalized results.

Button: Show Details.
